Long story short, not less than eight hours later, I get an email from them saying they're pulling the money from my account. WTF?! I send them multiple documents showing the work performed and even the client's agreement that the work had been completed. This company allowed us to take credit card payments for our website for almost a week, the day my deposit was suppose to hit they decided to do some further verification. I replied with the requested information within 30 minutes. After they sent an email advising it would take 1-2 days to go over the information. 00 credit card charge at 11:00 A.M. and then at 4:00 P.M. on the same day deactivated my account because they deemed it "risky" and say they're holding my money for 90 days, again, for no reason.I had used them to process credit card purchases in my at home business for the past 3 years with no issues whatsoever on my end. Up until today, we have used the Square merchant processing service occasional. Each time we have at least a little trouble, but all works out fine. Today was the last straw. We processed a larger transaction on 8/16/16, expecting to see the funds 8/17/16. Bought a square and an iPad to go with it for a small business. Had a lot of problems setting it up and even though all the information we entered was correct it claimed it wasn't and locked it out. We then found out that this is permanent, there is no recourse and now you have a paperweight and you have to find a new system and good luck getting your money back. If you are having issues with Square, please file a complaint with the BBB in Northern California. BBB of the Golden Gate & Northern California to be exact, and it would be Square, Inc that you would select in the search bar. You can file a complaint, but also WRITE AND POST A REVIEW on BBB website that ppl searching BBB can find, too.
