square has frozen about $3000.00 of my money and there is no way to contact them to resolve the problem because they make you get a customer code before they will talk to you. you can't get the customer code untill you jump through all their hoops .

Square maybe easier to obtain, but they are not good for your business. You are better off using paypal and get hit with higher rates than use Square. They can deactivate your account at any time. They will hold your money for longer than 90 days and up to 6 months. It is in the fine print in their terms and conditions. Please don't fall victim to them. I have been using square and never had a problem. Sometimes, I will receive requests for documentation. So as always, I would send the contract between my customer and our company, the credit card authorization form, my client's application. Then, all will be approve. Square allowed me to make purchases with reader and just randomly decided i needed to verify my info...while they hold a $5000.00 payment transaction...now they want to see my last 3 bank statements... along with i.d. and invoices from job....wtf..
